FMA(Full metal alchemist)

The plot is quite exciting in both adaptations but I think (because the manga isn't finished yet) I will like the manga better
(SPOILERS) The reason is that in the end of the anime ed is stuck in germany then at the end of movie Ed AND Al got stuck in Germany (SPOILERS)
Now for some of the characters:


Edward Elric-The youngest person to be a state alchemist at the age of 12. He also has a SHORT temper and hates being called a shrimp,small short etc.and randomly beats up the character who called him short not even knowing who he beat up. He has the special ability to transmute w/o a transmutation circle unlike other alchemists


Alphose Elric-Or Al for short he's the armor and Ed's younger brother (yes The younger one) He is nearly the opposite of ed except for his alchemic abilities (SPOILERS ) He is able to transmute w/o a circle in the manga but in the anime he is the Philosopher's stone(SPOILERS ).He is normally mistaken for the Full Metal alchemist due to his metal body much to the annoyance of ed



Roy Mustang- He is a state alchemist who uses his special gloves to create fire he is a friend of Ed and Al. He is usually seen with Riza Hawkeye his assistant. He is saddened by the fact that he is useless in the rain or when his gloves are wet.
Winry Rockbell-A close childhood friend of Ed and Al and an Expert Automail mechanic









Maes Hughes-(SPOILERS) he dies in the middle of both adaptations (SPOILERS) . He's a funny man and is obssesed with his wife and daughter. I wish he didn't have to die
